Become an Author
Condo Owners Forum provides Alberta condo owners and condo board members with relevant information in the form of a twice-yearly magazine, e-newsletters, blog posts, and educational events. Through these communication channels, we help keep condo owners up-to-date on the latest legislative activity, management trends, industry best practices, hot topics and subjects of special interest.
The COF magazine is distributed twice-yearly (spring and fall) to 8,000 recipients in print and posted online for thousands more to read. If you would like to write for the magazine, please complete the application form, specifically indicating your area of interest/expertise. The committee will contact you with a theme and article topic. Occasionally, pre-written articles are accepted when the topic is timely and relevant. Articles are roughly 1,200 words in length.
Our blog articles are distributed via our monthly e-newsletter to 800 recipients and posted to our website. Articles may be written on any relevant industry topic, provided they are not self-promotional. A link-back to a relevant article on a similar topic on the author’s website may be included. Link-backs may not be used to promote a product or service referenced in the article. Articles are 600-1,200 words in length.
Interested authors should complete an application if you wish to:
- Share your skills and experiences.
- Exchange information and ideas.
- Participate in unique opportunities that bring condo owners, condo managers, and industry professionals together with a common goal.
- Play a part in improving condo living and promote the professionalism of those serving condo owners and condo corporations.
Authors may be paired up to give readers a diverse experience.
