We are in the process of updating our Bylaws. March 16, 2022, our current Board/Corp provided the 108 Unit Owners the proposed amendments to our bylaws (Total 70 pages) which also includes the recent Condo Act changes. They have requested a response by Sunday, April 10, 2022 which is in my opinion very short notice and response time (3 weeks) when they’ve been working on them for at least 2 years and the Lawyers recent update provided the Board at least 6 weeks for their review. Other than the email there has been no communication on this let alone anything else, Town Hall or other discussion with the Unit Owners.

Is there a specific date or timeframe the Condo Corps/Boards are or were required to have their Bylaws updated to include the most recent Condo Act updates?

Does anyone have a contact at Service Alberta to ask other concerning questions with respect to Board/Corporation compliance?

Thank you in advance for any advice, suggestions, information.
