If an insurance claim is denied based on several fabrications from the responding party, including photos of a different site from where the injury actually happened, should the broker be made aware of it?

The insurance adjuster never investigated, ignored the claimant’s photos and refused to visit the site which still remains in the same hazardous condition that caused the accident.

If you know the insurance company speak to the claims manager, if that does not work the next step go to insurance bureau of Canada get advice from them. Not many details sounds like an injury claim?

Another alternative is a public adjuster, however they will charge, usually % of the settlement

Thank you Ron. Yes, it was an injury claim. Neither claims manager nor insurance Bureau were helpful.

After Cherry’s Bignel presentation, I was left with an impression that the insurance broker would be the one to contact. She would be the best person to weigh in on this discussion.
