We haven’t had a goose problem. Many birds perch on our parapets above the mansards, mainly pigeons, also magpies and crows. They poop on the mansards and parapets; the rain washes the excrement onto our skylights and windows. The windows are cleaned once a year. The pigeons used to roost and nest on our roofs. Persistent, polite owner complaints to management resulted in a pest control company ‘relocating the pigeons to the countryside’. Our maintenance man made sure the nesting places were no longer accessible. New generations of pigeons need to be ‘educated’ continuously.
