    I am in an 8-storey building close to downtown Calgary.

    First problem: ensure no one is feeding the pigeons or allowing the pigeons to nest on the balconies. This may sound silly, but at least 3 of our 39 owners have done this!

    We have tried everything unsuccessfully for our unit, but it is a condo problem.

    We have limited success using a vermin control company, but one treatment is inadequate. Early and persistent therapies are essential.

    It is a neighbourhood problem: I don’t have any thoughts on addressing the issue when it emanates from neighbouring buildings.
