We have three tall, flat-roofed buildings with parapets where pigeons love to roost, nest and p**p. The rain washes the latter off the parapets and over the sunroom roofs, balconies and windows, which are only washed once a year. The only time I wish it would rain more!
Our management company has used /https://www.cal-rid.com/ Cal-Rid for many years for all pest control (pigeons, mice, ants, etc.). I wasn’t involved in the choice, they seem to be the best. I can’t comment on cost-effectiveness, sorry.
