When we renovated our six elevators starting in 2004, our property manager (Garey Kirkland/Simco) connected us with an independent worldwide company with an office in Calgary. We retained them to write specifications and oversee renovations which started in 2005 and ended in ~2007. We needed to borrow money for the project, which took many years to pay off as opposed to a special levy, which we then couldn’t possibly afford. I regret I no longer have the name of the company. The individual who advised us has retired. I suggest talking to your property manager or one of the engineering firms who are CCI-SA members.
