There is no requirement in Alberta legislation that SGM minutes must be distributed to owners. However, a unit owner of the corporation has the right to request and receive draft minutes of any general meeting that happened more than 30 days ago. You might have to pay up to $10 to receive the document. Also, your bylaws likely require the unit owners to approve draft general meeting minutes at the AGM, so you will likely see the SGM minutes at the next AGM.

The vote to remove a board member would just be an ordinary resolution unless your bylaws say otherwise. For ordinary resolutions the minutes of the meeting will say if the resolution was carried or lost (passed or failed).

I suggest asking for the draft minutes of the SGM and then going from there. If you feel that the minutes don’t accurately reflect material discussions of the corporation then I would come prepared to discuss this with the owners at the next AGM, or perhaps you can organize another SGM (your bylaws likely have instructions on how to do this).
