We have 175 units in three buildings; one building houses a swimming pool, hot tub, and a small exercise room with five very closely-spaced pieces of equipment. All have been closed since Monday, December 14 2020.
Notices in all three buildings say “Alberta Health Services updated restrictions on Dec.8th closing the following amenities. Recreational and fitness centres including pools, gyms, studios and arenas” We also have two gender-appropriate locker rooms with showers and steam rooms, and with toilets serving commercial occupants of that floor. These also appear to be closed (there are more accessible toilets on the floor above, don’t worry about it!).
Before the December closure, the exercise room was limited to one user at a time, booked in advance; the user was required to sanitise the equipment they had used before leaving. I don’t know how that worked with the pool and hot tub. Users are always required to shower with soap before using the pool or hot tub, but I observed that other users usually did not obey this requirement 🙁
