COF Board of Directors 2026

Dustin is a new addition to the team at COF. Having served several times on condo boards ranging from a 4 unit self directed community to a 265 unit multiple building professionally managed complex. Now he has expanded to the management side of condominiums to reap the benefits of years of collaboration and growth.

With degrees in education and engineering, Dustin has had previous careers as an educator and a construction surveyor but his passion has always been for the education and advocacy of people he is privileged to serve.

Glen brings a wealth of experience from his 36-year career at AGT/Telus, where he advanced from technical roles to planning and managerial positions. His passion for community involvement is evident through his extensive service on various condo boards.

Glen served as Chair of a condo board at Panorama Mountain Village, BC, overseeing interior furnishings, maintenance, and housekeeping for 53 units. Additionally, he contributed to the Strata Board managing the exterior maintenance, landscaping, and roadways of 256 units.

Since moving to Horizon Village in 2012, Glen has held multiple roles on its board, except Secretary, and has dedicated over a decade to improving the community. Joining COF was a turning point for him, expanding his knowledge and expertise in condominium management.

Glen’s primary focus is on promoting education and fostering better communication between board members and condo owners, ensuring a more informed and connected community.

Wayne has recently joined the Board as a Member at Large. He is Retired and has a work history of 30 years in Residential and Commercial Property Management of which 20 years was spent with a privately owned Shopping Center Corporation holding a portfolio of 2 million square feet. Wayne held positions of a Shopping Center Manager in his early career and move on to become General Manager of Operations and Construction in the Corporation’s Head Office in Saskatoon. Wayne has also served several years as a member of the Medicine Hat Municipal Planning Commission and many other positions in the communities he has lived.

After Retiring in 2015 Wayne and his wife Lisa spent 7 years residing in Bucerias, Mexico Where they were involved in many Charitable Organization. In 2021 they returned to Canada taking up residency at River Ridge Estates, a 147-unit Condominium in Medicine Hat. Wayne currently is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Condominium.

Gerrit is a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Institute of Alberta (ADRIA) and has been practicing mediation for 30 years. Gerrit’s mediation and arbitration practice focuses on residential and commercial condominium corporations.

Gerrit is a 30 year veteran of the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI), having served on the board of 5 condominium corporations, the board 4 CCI chapters across Canada, and past President of CCI North Alberta Chapter in Edmonton, and served on the board of a hospital.

Gerrit a retired Manager of railway operations, having been employed by CN Rail, VIA Rail, Transport Canada and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.

His hobbies are travel, golf, ballroom dancing and carpentry.
