Trevor is a seasoned veteran with 30 years of industry experience with Alberta’s

energy markets. He has worked in the electricity industry since the early days of

de-regulation and has extensive knowledge in financial, commercial, trading/position

management, operational and regulatory aspects of the industry. His insights, strategy

and market call recommendations along with a customer first approach helps deliver

on 8760’s motto: “We win when our customers win.”

Jared Smale BBA

Director, Business Development

Jared has worked for 8760 for 10 years and is well versed in all aspects of our

business. His experience in sales, operations and having previously managed our

contract procurement activities gives him valuable insights into the pricing complexities

of today’s energy markets and the inner workings of our Retailer partners. Jared’s focus

is to work with clients to help them manage all of their energy needs and to offer “more

than just a price” as we look to optimize, contain and ideally reduce your energy costs.

Jacob Chorney BSc Mech Eng, CEM(EMIT)

Energy Efficiency Manager

Jacob graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in

Mechanical Engineering. He has worked for 8760 for nearly 3 years and is the head

technical specialist within our Energy Efficiency team. Jacob has conducted many

desktop audits, benchmark studies and on-site energy audits for our clients. His goal

is to help our clients understand their energy consumption patterns and to make data

driven decisions that will help optimize and/or reduce their energy consumption needs

and related costs.
