Lance Merrifield began his career in construction as a general contractor, building low- and medium-density multifamily condominiums. He joined Epic Group in 2010 and became part of the ownership group in 2013. Over the years, he has served in several leadership roles, including Vice President of Operations, and now acts as General Manager of Epic Roofing & Exteriors Commercial, leading a division specializing in building envelope restoration and large-scale commercial projects.
Lance is passionate about building science and takes satisfaction in restoring buildings and systems that are not performing as intended. He is also a strong advocate for innovation and the thoughtful adoption of technology to improve outcomes in the construction and restoration industries. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, with his wife and is the proud father of four grown children.
Tyson Toth has spent the past 20 years in the roofing and exteriors industry, all with Epic Roofing, where he started as a labourer and worked his way up to Vice President of Epic Roofing & Exteriors. With a focus on the sloped roofing sector, he brings hands-on experience and a practical understanding of roofing systems from installation to long-term performance. Tyson has also worked closely with property managers and condo communities, particularly while leading Epic’s Service Division, where he specialized in maintenance, repairs, and helping clients protect the value of their buildings through smart, proactive roofing and exterior decisions.
